A briefing paper that raises concerns about post-Brexit trade with Ghana and Cameroon. Exporters in both countries are set to be hit with new tariffs in January 2021, unless they sign a deal that will undermine their ability to trade regionally. Rather than present Ghana and Cameroon with this unfair choice, the UK should offer both countries continued tariff-free access to the UK market.
